    In September 1976 Dr. Gindo Simanjuntak bought the land and lived there. In 1980 some 13 household of Batak Christian community built semi permanent church building, while Dr. Gindo's family got the governmental house from Health Department in Jakarta and removed there. Later on in 1998 the church community member increased up to 1.800 household. This community renewed the old church building into a new permanent building with 2 floors and its capacity for 1.200 persons for each worship. About 90% of the population surrounding the church are Moslems, and they loves Dr. Gindo and his family members very much.
